IDENTIFIKASI POLA MISKONSEPSI MAHASISWA PADA KONSEP MEKANISME EVOLUSI MENGGUNAKAN CERTAINTY OF RESPONSE INDEX (CRI)

The purpose of the research was to find out the misconception biologi pre-service
teachers on Evalution Mecanism concept. This reseach was descriptive study
with subject of biologi pre-service teachers in each of Private University in Riau
Province. The instrument used was Multiple choices by completing of response
Index (CRI) which was given twice (pretest dan posttest) to get the students’
misconception pattern. The result of the research showed that the students’
conception such Knowledge of correct concepts (PH), Lack of knowledge (TP),
misconception (MK), and Wrong answer lucky guess (MB). The concept on
pretest and posttest patterned 7 forms. The misconception was MK-PH, PH-MK,
TP-MK, MK-TP, MK-MK, MK-MB dan MK-MB. It was found that all of the
students got the misconception on average percentage was 26.9%. the
misconception’s pattern which was highest TP-MK 37,5%. The students got
misconception on sub-concept genetic variety., teorema Hardy-Weinberg subconcept, and natural selection sub-concept. The highest misconception occurred
on sub-concept genetic variety.
